Scholarship Project
Weall have
different desires, ambitions, goals, and callings in our lives and Str8way
believes that in each area of our lives we have the opportunity and ability to
make a difference – at home, at church, at work, at school. We desire to come
alongside young nationals in offering opportunities to follow their dreams all the while
giving praise to Our Most High God and making a difference in the lives around them.
Str8way has two scholarship opportunities available. The first one is an Education Scholarship for those who are seeking to
further their schooling. The second is a Ministry Scholarship for those who
would like to commit more of their time to ministry outreach.
Education Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to provide you with the opportunity to
begin or complete your university or technical training to prepare you for your
chosen career field. This scholarship can be applied toward your tuition fees
and material costs. The goal of this scholarship is that you would have the
opportunity for quality job training where you will be sharing the testimony of
what Jesus Christ has done in your life through your integrity and daily living
in the work place.
Ministry Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for those who are feeling led towards
ministry outreach but still need to provide for their everyday living and
possibly families. This scholarship can be applied towards ministry costs or
helping to cut back on the necessity of having a fulltime job. The goal of this
scholarship is that you would have the opportunity to spend more time focusing
on ministry. Str8way would like to catch your ministry vision and see how we
can help make it possible.
Scholarship Recipients
Perla
Perla has received a Ministry Scholarship to receive training as a missionary through Castillo
del Rey's Comision del Maestro program. This is a 3 year program:
Year 1 - is a year of intensive discipleship providing her with a pastoral formation, teamwork,
development of crossed and massive campaigns, with specialization in the formation of
personal and collective discipleship.
Year 2 - is a focused leadership formation year in evangelism ministry, giving her the
opportunity to put into practice her ability and discipleship acquired in the first year.
Year 3 - is a missionary formation year, she is offered the opportunity to collect funds within
the Assemblies of God community in order then to be a missionary of Castillo del Rey.
